MINECRAFT FORGE?!?!

ciao a tutti io sto avendo problemi con minecraft forge perchè ho java 8, so che dovrei installare java 7 ma non posso e volevo capire se forge poteva comunque funzionare in qualche modo oppure almeno se era possibile installare le mod manualmente.
